Winter hiking on the Seefeld Plateau

Tirol Touristica Award 2025

Winter hiking at the highest level: the Seefeld high plateau delights visitors with a newly designed, multi-day winter hiking route that perfectly combines nature experiences and comfort. The approximately 65-kilometre route leads through the snow-covered landscape around Seefeld in five varied daily stages – without having to change accommodation. Guests return to their familiar hotel every day and discover new facets of the region each day.

All routes are well prepared, clearly signposted and also ideal for leisurely hikers with no previous alpine experience. In addition, the Seefeld region offers an extensive network of over 140 kilometres of winter hiking trails – from relaxed walks around the Wildsee lake to scenic tours to Mösern or Wildmoos.

The Seefeld region was awarded the Tirol Touristica Award 2025 for this forward-looking concept. Particular praise was given to the sustainable, nature-oriented approach, which offers a quiet and comfortable alternative to classic ski tourism – to the benefit of guests and the entire region.
