Rustic, typical Tyrolean huts and alpine pastures are often available for a culinary break. The best opportunity to recharge your batteries and get to know the ‘country and its people’. If the children are not yet tired from the hike, many huts have a playground where they can let off steam.

Our four insider tips will lead you to child-friendly trails, rustic alpine huts and impressive panoramic spots. Ideal for families with children, active grandparents or anyone who wants to discover the Tyrolean mountains together – here, hiking becomes a shared adventure!
Hiking with walter every Monday from 27 May
Our hiking guide Walter also offers family-friendly hikes. We particularly recommend the lake circuit via Mösern, Wildmoos and Seefeld. The destination of this hike is the three small lakes (Wildsee, Möserer See, Lottensee) west of Seefeld. A beautiful hike for the whole family, including a stop at a mountain hut (at your own expense).
Circular walk around Wildsee lake, including Pfarrhügel hill
Start directly at the hotel and head towards Pfarrhügel. Pfarrhügel is located between the village centre and Wildsee lake. It only takes a few minutes to get from the village centre to Pfarrhügel, making it a perfect stopover on the way to Wildsee lake. There is plenty to experience for keen hikers around Wildsee lake, such as the Seefeld Kneipp facility.

Leutascher Geisterklamm
The Geisterklamm gorge in Leutasch is a popular destination for young and old alike. From May to the end of October, the Geisterklamm gorge is open all day and, since summer 2023, it has also been delighting visitors with new themed trails. Captivating stories, exciting games and a wonderful nature experience await you.

Circular hiking trail Bee and beneficial insect nature trail
What could be better than exercising in nature, having fun and learning at the same time? The new bee trail combines all of this along a 3-kilometre route along the Reither Waldweg. With a total of 10 stations and information boards, you can immerse yourself in the fascinating world of wild bees, honey bees and the diverse beneficial insects of the forest. In addition to native wild bees, you will also learn about the history and challenges of conventional beekeeping.
